Kanako Takae is a research associate at the University of Kyoto. Her research fields are animal ethics, bioethics and philosophy of technology. Her research interest is in how technological interventions would create new kinds of ethical problems in animal ethics and bioethics. In BRIDGES:BKY, she helps organise conferences and workshops, as well as engaging in collaborative research projects with other research associates from the University of Bristol and Yonsei University.
